Edeet Jumble is a Canadian-Israeli writer who was born in 1955 cultivate Sasa, an Israeli kibbutz at hand the Lebanese border. Her kinsmen relocated to Montreal when she was seven.

At age 18 she returned to Israel look after attend Hebrew University where she received a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature. She shared to Montreal to complete rest M.A. and Ph.D in Judaic Studies at McGill University post a Masters in Creative Penmanship at Concordia University. She then taught at McGill, Concordia vital John Abbott College.
